How to get started with the new Angular 4 framework

In this tutorial, we are going to learn that how to set up Angular 4 Development Environment and the prerequisites.

Prerequisites

Environment Set up with CLI

Install the latest version of Node.js with NPM. After that need to install Angular CLI.
To install Angular CLI globally run given npm command

After a successful install, we will be able to access ng command.

Create Project

Here no need to create the project manually, We can create a project using Angular CLI.
Open command prompt and the following command to generate the project skeleton

It will take some time to complete the setup. After successful installation, no need to install any other server to run your project.

Run your project

To run your project, Go to the project directory and launch the server.

will start the server and will open default browser on http://localhost:4200

Angular 4 without the CLI

If you do not want to install Angular CLI then you can directly clone the project repository from Github by executing following command.

OR click on given link Angular 4 Quickstart. After successfully clone/download run the following command to install all the dependencies.
After all the installation, run the following command to run the project.
